About the studio
A barbershop and a hair salon under one roof
Mahbod Style is a hair studio at 650 S Grand Ave, in the middle of Downtown Los Angeles. Barbers and stylists work side by side, so you can book a skin fade, your partner a balayage and a friend a blowout — same studio, same time.
It was founded by Mahbod Yousefi Moghadam, a barber educator who built one of the largest barbering academies in the Middle East before bringing his team to LA.

Every visit starts with a short consultation: growth pattern, cowlicks, face shape and how long you spend styling in the morning. Popular requests are skin fades and tapers, scissor cuts and textured crops. A regular men’s haircut is about 45 minutes; a skin fade about 50.
Beard, color and finishing
A clean cut deserves a beard that matches. Beard trims run from a quick line-up to full shaping with a hot towel finish. For gray, men’s hair color and gray blending softens it without the flat, dyed look.

How much is a men's haircut?

Do you have a women’s hair salon?
Yes. Our women’s team offers haircuts from $50, color from $110, highlights, balayage, blowouts from $45, perms and keratin.
