Women's Haircuts in Downtown LA
A women's haircut that works on day three, not just the day you leave. We look at your texture, your part and how much time you actually spend styling, then cut for that — finished with a blow dry.

Pixie
Short and textured, often with face-framing pieces. Quick to style, needs a trim every 4–6 weeks.

Bob
Blunt or softly layered, from jaw to collarbone. The easiest way to make fine hair look thicker.

Layered cut
Layers remove weight and add movement, especially for thick or wavy hair.

Soft waves & long layers
Length kept, ends refreshed, a few long layers to stop it falling flat.

Short wavy bob
Cut to sit with your natural wave so it dries into shape.

Curtain bangs
Soft bangs that open in the middle and blend into the sides. Easy to grow out.

How to choose your next haircut
The right cut depends less on the photo and more on three things: your hair's texture, the shape of your face and how much time you'll give it each morning. Here's a quick way to narrow it down before your appointment.
Start with texture
- Fine hair: blunt lines make it look thicker. Bobs and lobs are your friends; avoid heavy layering.
- Thick hair: internal layers remove weight so the shape doesn't turn triangular.
- Wavy and curly hair: cut so it dries into shape; tell us if you air-dry or blow-dry.
Then face shape
Round faces suit length past the chin and a side part. Long faces suit bangs and width at the sides. Heart-shaped faces suit chin-length cuts with soft volume at the jaw. Square faces suit soft layers and curtain bangs. These are starting points, not rules.
Be honest about upkeep
Pixies and short bobs look best with a trim every 4–6 weeks. Long layers can go 8–12 weeks. Bangs need a quick trim ($30) between cuts.
Going short
Big changes are easier in two steps — a lob first, then shorter. Bring photos from the front, side and back, and plan a blowout finish so you see the real shape.
Pair it with color
A new cut is the best moment for highlights or balayage: the placement can follow the new shape. Book both and we'll plan the order.
