Blunt bob with blonde highlights at Mahbod Style hair salon in Downtown LA
One of the best salons in Downtown! The team is incredibly professional, always on time, and super efficient. Even though I have the option to go to women-only salons, I feel completely comfortable here and always have a great experience. I'm genuinely so happy with the results every time. Highly recommend!

What you can expect here

A real consultation

We ask how you wear your hair, what went wrong last time and how much upkeep you want — before we cut or color.

Clear prices up front

Prices match our online booking. If length or thickness changes the price, your stylist tells you before starting.

Open 7 days, 9–8

Early, lunch-hour and after-work times for downtown schedules.

Women feel at home

A clean, calm studio with a dedicated women’s team — in the same space as our barbershop.

A stylist who asks first

Every appointment starts with a short conversation: how you part and style your hair, what went wrong last time, how much upkeep you want. A good cut or color is planned around your life, not the photo alone.

Clear pricing

Our website prices match online booking. Services that depend on length — color, keratin, perms and blowouts — are confirmed before we start, so there are no surprises at checkout.

Popular downtown appointments

  • Lunch-hour trim or bangs — 30 minutes, back at your desk.
  • After-work blowout — sleek or bouncy before dinner.
  • Saturday color — balayage or highlights with time to relax.
  • Keratin before summer — less frizz in LA heat.

A calm studio, not a women-only one

Our women's team works in the same studio as our barbershop. Clients tell us they feel completely comfortable here, and it makes couples' and friends' appointments easy to book together.

Hair stylist or colorist?

For cuts and styling, book a women's haircut. For a color change, book the color service and mention your goal; we'll match you with the right stylist.
